This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use ReplySurge, why we collect it, and the choices you have. ReplySurge is a browser extension that helps you draft AI-assisted social media replies, which you then review and post yourself. We never post on your behalf.
Who we are

Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Google Sign-In, we receive your email address and name to create and manage your account.
- Billing information. Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not store your full card numbers. Stripe provides us with limited details such as your subscription status and the last four digits of your card.
- Company profiles you create. Profiles describing your brand, product, or voice are stored locally in your browser and sent to our backend only when needed to generate a reply that reflects that context.
- Post text you choose to reply to. When you ask ReplySurge to draft a reply, the post or comment text you select is sent to our backend and AI model to produce a draft. This content is used to generate your draft and is not stored long-term.
- Usage and diagnostic data. We collect basic, limited information such as feature usage, error reports, and general device or browser details to keep the product reliable.
How we use your information
- To generate AI-assisted reply drafts when you request them.
- To create your account and manage your subscription or free trial.
- To send you service-related emails (for example, billing notices, security alerts, and important changes).
- To maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the product.
What we don't do
- We never auto-post or take actions on your social accounts. You copy and paste every reply manually and decide what to publish.
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not read or post your private messages or direct messages.
Service providers and subprocessors
We rely on a small set of trusted providers to operate ReplySurge. These providers process data only as needed to perform their services:
- Cloudflare — hosting and AI inference.
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
- Google — sign-in and authentication.
- An email provider — delivery of transactional, service-related email.
Data retention
We keep account and billing information for as long as your account is active and as needed to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. The post text you submit for reply generation is processed to create your draft and is not retained long-term. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To make a request, email us at privacy@replysurge.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. You can also delete locally stored company profiles directly in the extension.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
ReplySurge is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
International data transfers
We and our service providers may process and store your information in countries other than where you live, including the United States. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards to protect your data during these transfers.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the product or by email.
